In conjunction with my project to identify photos of RMs who took part in the Zeebrugge Raid on St George's Day 1918, I am trying to track down any WW1 period named marine group photos that might include some Zeebrugge men. I have a small number of photos taken in late 1917 and early 1918 in Deal, where many RMs underwent training. Each typically has 30-50 men, several of whom were subsequently picked for the raid, so am hoping there are a few more out there that might yield a name or two for my eventual book on the raid. At the same time, I am always more than happy to check the photos I already have for any names people might be seeking. You never know.
Many thanks in advance.

As it happens, I have just sourced a photo of "M.12 RMLI Depot Deal Dec 1917" which is named and contains 51 short service Plymouth men, of whom about half served in the Zeebrugge Raid. Happy to chekc names, and if anyone has anything similar I'd appreciate notification.
Cheers,

Here's a copy of the photo I've just found so you can see an example of what I'm seeking. Am happy to do look-ups for this and one or two other group pix I have.
Cheers,

That's a great photo, thanks for posting. I presume you don't have name?
