Can anyone help with the names and ranks of the 28 members of the R.N. Central African Expedition
who served under the command of Lt. Cdr. Spicer Simpson in 1915.

They may well be in the book reviewed here http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...4&hl=spicer

Buxton's Despatch (LG No 30182 dated 13 July 1917) gives the names of the 16 men given awards.

If you discover the remaining names then please send me a PM with them.

A very good source for images is the article in the October 1922 (Volume XLII Number 4) of the National Geographic Magazine.
