This summer I am travelling to the battlefields at Vimy and Ypres to pay tribute to the men who served with and under my grandfather of the 124th Canadian Pioneers. I will be placing Canadian flags on their graves but there are some that are located in the UK, notably at Hollybrook Memorial, Southampton and Seaford in Sussux. As well there is one in Rouen (St Sever Military Extension) I would like to know if there is anyone who can place flags at these locations for me?

Hi Sean. Sorry I cant help you with that as I don't live there but just out of interest, I take it you are talking of those little flags, like the size of a book. How would we get Canadian ones here? Would you send them?

The flags are 4" x 6" and are on a stick and I'm taking 60 with me. I'll send the others to whomever can assist me. Right now I'm trying to see if I can have the 124th Canadian Battalion logo printed on them.

Hi,
if your still looking for someone to put flags on the Canadians in Seaford, the cemetery is at the top of my road just 1min walk away i will gladly do this for you,
send me a pm and i will give you my address to send them to,
They do all get poppies on November 11th and we have a contingent come down from the embassy on the nearest Tuesday along with friends from the West Indies, who live just outside of London.
Speak to you soon, sorry for delay have not been on for a while as been busy,
Mandy
