There is no additional CWGC information and the 1901 census has two potential candidates with a Sussex connection born in 1889 and 1898. The 1911 index provides no additional information.

One of the names on the War Memorial at Itchingfield Church, East Sussex is William Dennett. (Itchingfield is in the Horsham RD)

The 1901 Census has the following:
Little Slatter, Barns Green, Itchingfield

Frederick Dennett, Head, 44, Gardeners Labourer, Itchingfield Sussex
Annie Dennett, Wife, 39, Itchingfield Sussex
John Dennett, Son, 17, Ground Labourer, Itchingfield Sussex
Agnes Dennett, Dau, 15, Itchingfield Sussex
Ellen Dennett,Dau, 13, Itchingfield Sussex
Annie Dennett, Dau, 11, Itchingfield Sussex
Frederick Dennett, Son, 9, Itchingfield Sussex
Mabel Dennett, Dau, 6, Itchingfield Sussex
William Dennett, Son, 3, Itchingfield Sussex (Sep Qtr 1897, Horsham RD)
Herbert James Dennett, Son, 1, Itchingfield Sussex

Frederick Dennett had married Annie Francis in 1883

The family still appear to be in Itchingfield at the time of the 1911 Census

This is probably your man
