I can see a birth Reg as follows:

Joseph Farron Jun Qtr 1896 Islington RD

This is probably him.

We still cannot carry this one any further forward.

There is no trace of Joseph in the census of 1901 or 1911 under the surname of Farren or Farron.

Any further leads would be much appreciated.
