Name: Martin Connors
Birth Place: Menagh, CO. Tipperary [Nemagh?]
Residence: Menagh
Death Date: 20 Jul 1916
Rank: L/Corporal
Regiment: Machine Gun Corps
Battalion: (Infantry).
Number: 14236
Type of Casualty: Killed in action
Comments: Formerly 34775, Liverpool Regt.

This one of the men included on the MoD/CWGC list even though the stated date of death is 20th July 1916.

There is not a lot to go on other than the additional GWGC information of: Son of Jeremiah and Maria Connors, of 14, St. John's Terrace, Nemagh, Tipperary - so presumably the parents were living at this address in the early 1920s when the IWGC returns were made.

It's Nenagh, St. John's Terrace is still there, are you just looking for living relatives ?

Conor

It is both. We are attempting to establish the immediate genealogy of the soldier as a route to finding living relatives.
