Does any one know if its possible to identify which company each soldier was in? It would appear that company's B,C and D were in action on 19th July 1916. From my reading of the casualty lists and the reports after the battle its possible to identify the officers in charge of each company but not the other ranks.

Wondered if that may give clues as well if subsequently names can be attached to those buried in different graves.

Some times the CWGC has which company. I have a few out of the 15th Battalion North Belfast Volunteers with Companies on it.

thanks- I've checked the lists of the missing. Just 7 names out of 78 from the 2/7th Warwickshire's had the company recorded.

No record of the company on the CGWC web site in particular for my great uncle 266675 Leonard Twamley

thanks

Richard
