I thought it was pretty good, and like many of this author's books, some excellent colour repros of maps.

Got Marix Evan's Ypres book today.
Graphic design qualities superb. As Paul says, good maps, relevant pictures and very reable text. A wide net is cast but well worth looking at.
A well presented book which stands out in my mind for the thought which has gone in to the 'reader friendly' design.
