90 Years Ago Today 8th July 2009.
The Grimsby steam trawler SUNCLOUD GY 753 left Grimsby for the North Sea fishing grounds with a crew of ten. They were last heard of on the 8th July 1919 and then posted missing, then lost with all hands, probably mined.
1914 Suncloud was requisitioned by the the Royal Navy and converted for minesweeping. Admiralty No. 611. 1919 Returned and reverted.
