I don't believe it, this will be third one I have missed, have got a wedding that weekend!

Any chance of a December meet perhaps with a quick half at the German market?

Matt

I'm up for a December meet but not sure about the "quick half". Make it several pints and I shall be there!

Roger
Gunboat
I should be ok for the 17th hopefully see you then...and indeed any festive celebrations in December

Roger

Oh all right then, if you insist.
Terry Carter
Sounds a good idea for December. Trip round the German Market, re-enact the Xmas Truce, play a game of football in No Man's Land (Villa Park) and back to the OC's.

Terry

Gunboat
So is October cancelled then....dear oh dear another event I have killed off at the mere hint of my attending....

How many PALS groups would like to pay me NOT to say I will come so their next meeting to guarantee that the meeting will go ahead!

Come on Roy and the South Staffs Pals you meet regularly should be worth a few quid to pay me NOT to say I will come smile.gif
Terry Carter
HI Gunboat.... Not Cancelled... The October meeting is still on. Saturday 17 October, 5:30 ish at the Old Contemptibles, Livery Street.

Hope to see you

Terry

Alan

I think Terry may well be a Blue Nose and may not be to keen on the Villa!

Stephen
Terry Carter
Believe it or not, even though I am slightly biased to the Blues, I do have an affinity with the Villa, due to the fact Aston Barracks, the home of the 8th Royal Warwicks, was directly behind the Witton End. Also I like to find out about former players of both clubs who served in WW1.

See you all soon

Half a Bluenose is just as bad as whole one!

Roger
Stephen White
Another enjoyable evening unfortunately as I was thinking to myself that I must introduce myself to the new guy Matt Dixon, then he had to leave early, so I'll catch up with him next time.

Stephen
Matt Dixon
Sorry about that, we'll have to talk next time.
Alan Tucker
Always good to see everybody
Terry Carter
Hi di hi

Another enjoyable couple of hours. A good turn out aswell, 11 in total. (that was the attendance, not how many pints we each drunk!)

Now that would be interesting, if we all had to drink the same number of pints as there was attendee's before we were dismissed and allowed to go home!
