A friend of mine told me that her grandfather had read a book and had enjoyed it enormously. Unfortunately he could not remember the author or the title. She would love to find it out and buy him a copy, but we have very little to go on. It appears to be a collection of recollections of (we think) various padres of different religious persuasions during the first world war. Yes I know this is a bit flimsy but it would make his day if she had a title/s to jog his memory.
