685th MT Coy ASC was formed on 31 March 16 on the Western Front and disbanded on 25 Nov 1917 and absorbed into 778, 810 MT comapanies and the Base MT Depot, which I think was at Kalamaria (source Michael Young's ASC book).

Does anyone know the reasons for this re-organisation, and indeed anything about the history and personel of this unit?
