On my husbands grandfathers records shows the following during August 1916 whilst he was serving in Suez
"Rejoined unit "Manchester Post""
Does anybody know what Manchester Post refers to.

This must be the general area per the ref by John H in his reply to you on one of the other threads
the map is from the CDrom produced by the N & M press together with the IWM
It shows part of the Canal's defences in July 1916
