In August 1916 the Romanians changed commanders of the 17th Division. New new guy was named Spirescu. I've never heard of him. Also don't have a first name (It's a lot easier to find these guys if you have a full name). Anyone know anything about him?

Rich,

The III-rd Romanian Army ,of which Command was given to General M. Aslan, was made out of a group of observation ,made out of Divisions 16th and 18th of Infantry and Ist Cavalry Division ,stretched along the Danube until the mouth of Arges River ,and of other three Divisions -the 17th ,the 9th and 19th -along the frontier of Dobrogea.
