Private 31229 Robert George Tuck 1st/5th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment was born in Great Harwood, Lancashire in 1891 the son of Dennis and Elizabeth. In 1917 Robert married his sweetheart Emily Southworth, just 12 months later he was killed on 1/10/1918 Aged 27.
He is commemorated on the Great Harwood War Memorial and is buried in Proville British Cemetery, France.
