Full Version: Devonshire Regiment cap badge?

My relative Albert Chandler (see 'in memory of' below) served with the Devonshire Regt before transferring to the Somerset Light Infantry. I have recently obtained this photo and just wish to verify that this is indeed a Devonshires cap badge........even I can see it's not a Light Infantry badge. Cheers Charles

looks Ok but unless you cab blow it up, it could also be the ASC.

The Devons cap badge is my signature on the left - let me know if you need more clarification.

Certainly looks like Devonshire Regiment.

I can certainly see the resemblance to the ASC badge but the middle looks different to me.

Whilst we're all in the mood for looking at cap badges, would anyone like to have a quick look at my other post with more photos of my relative in the Gloucestershire Regiment?

yes it is a Devonshires and not a AVC.
