Hey there everyone!

I am new to this site and im already loving finding so many people who have the same interests as me! I have been working on a story on the great war for the last 8 years, trying to masake it as historically accurate and interesting as possible. I am wondering if anyone here would like to read some of it and tell me what they think?! It is something very dear to my heart and also something i would love to share with people who may appreciate it......if you dont think its rubbish of course lol!!!!

I wont give away any of the plot or anything, would just prefer you to read it blind as it were so you could give an honest opinion, things which need changing, things which are good etc.

Go for it, there's a few writers here who will give you some good advice and they have a lot of knowledge between them. I've found them very helpful and I'm always glad to read other people's work on the GW and offer my own thoughst too.

That's up to you Poppy, if you feel happy posting it here then do so. I'm sure you'll get some more feedback that way. Alternatively, you can send it for me to have a look at but I am but one mere reader you understand and my knowledge of the subject may not be as complete as some on here. If that's what you'd prefer send us a pm, and I'll send you an email address.

There is also a monthly thread with a given subject each month which you are welcome to contribute to. I haven't for a little while given other commitments but there are some regular posters with some real talent. Last month's theme was 'billets.' Take a look and see what you think.
