Remembering all ranks of the Leeds Rifles in action today in 1917 at Poelcappelle.

Especially Riflemen Charles William Dixon-Johnson from Croft on Tees and Hethpool, Kirknewton, and Joseph Long from Bradford. Both men were Killed in Action and are now commemorated on the Memorial at Tyne Cot.

Nec Aspera Terrent.

We will remember them.

They where certainly remembered today as I where in Allerton Bywater churchyard today and looked at a couple of the West Yorkshire lads headstones.
