Hello all, I wonder if anybody can help me find out where the 1/8 btn Lancashire fusiliers were in August 1918, the reason being is that my great-grandfather Walter Gawthorpe was in the Lancs fusiliers when he DOW on August 14th 1918 on the Somme, he is buried at Bertrancourt cemetary, which was a field ambulance station so must have been in action somewhere near to there, any info greatly appreciated.Thankyou , Ian Gawtorpe
