Remembered today, with Gratitude.

Corporal 700859 Walter Tuck "C" Battery, CCXXX Brigade, 46 (North Midland) Division, Royal Field Artillery.

Walter was born in Burnley, Lancashire in 1895 and lived at 60, Clive Street, Stoneyholme Burnley, second to eldest of 4 children to Frederick and Emma, Walter’s Father earned his living as a Railway Goods Inspector. Walter was killed in action during the third Battle of Ypres on 21/10/1917, aged just 22 years.

He is buried in Hagle Dump Cemetery, Belgium and he is also remembered on Burnley’s Roll of Honour.
