Just a mention to remember my gg uncle Daniel Hendry who died this day 1917 in Salonika. His cause of death was diease I don't know which one. Still he served his country and he will be remembered, lying far away frae his own folk.

Remembering a man who served in 28 Labour Company, Army Service Corps and then 711 Company, Labour Corps.


He may not have fought in battle but was essential to the war effort.
