A friend has been trying to get the following book but, so far, without luck. Can anybody suggest where she might be able to obtain a copy? No luck with bookshops (who also can't order), auction sites, Amazon, or even county libraries.

"At Some Disputed Barricade" (story of the 9th Battalion Essex Regiment on the Western
Front from September 1916 to the Armistice )"
Author Hugh Edwards
Publisher Coychurch press
Publication Date August 2002(paperback) ISBN 0954027612

Thanks

I have a copy. I contacted Mr. Hugh in 2007 explaining that my Grandfather had fought in the 9th Essex and he kindly sent me a photocopy of it. The book itself is the diary of Private Bill Ball of the 9th Essex mixed in with official accounts taken from the war diaries of the 12th Eastern Division and the 35th Brigade. Are you interested in any particular period or were you after the whole thing?
