OK. A premature misfire. Too excited !!!!!

to continue - the battle commenced early hours of 18th Sept 1918 and the following day Epehy was taken. I know there were other actions after Epehy but I am restricting my interest to the 18th /19th and in particular the 3rd London Regiment in the area of Fishers Keep in the town.

I have copies of War Diarys for this period and viewed maps, read several books plus made my own enquires. In addition I have received recent photographs of the area and I am forever greatful for these.

I even obtained the names of all who are buried in the Wood Farm Cemertery to sort out who was killed in the battle so I can cross reference them with their units and in particular with the 3rd Londons.

Any assistance would be appreciated as I am slowly obtaining interesting information and hope to later publish a short account of the action.
