Excellent pictures and information - like Scottie I must visit the cemetery one day.........
I read somewhere that Beatrix Potter had her "inspiration" for the name of Squirrel Nutkin
from a grave in Brompton Cemetery; the occupant's surname was Nutkins.

Nice photos and some very interesting graves.
I wonder what the Russian was doing there, perhaps one of the embassy staff, I assume that headstone was added a later date as it says Soviet Forces and has a star engraved on the stone, would it not have been Russian Forces at the time of his death and possibly have shown something other than a star ?
I seem to remember reading about Sandys suicide somewhere before.
Beatrix Potter lived in a house near the cemetery at the Boltons, some of the most expensive properties in London.
