Just got my hands on this Medal Record, have taken a visit to the "Long Trail" to have a look there to help decipher it..............and i got lost straight away

Can anyone please help me, was it just a general rifle brigade??

All I know of him was that he got sent home with trench feet.

The Rifle Brigade was a regiment (quite a classy one!) like the Middlesex Regiment, say. The experts may be able to hazard a guess at his battalion from his number, S/19795.

I'd suggest you retitle the thread to include the words "Rifle Brigade". That should then attract the attention of Andy (stiletto_33853) who is the Rifle Brigade expert on the forum and I would then assume you will get the answer to which battalion (you already know which regiment ).
