Here`s a picture of John Stanley Freeman, often known as Stan(ley), born 1900 Notts. The rear of the photo says 1920 Burma.
Have a larger version that I could e-mail if you think it could help identify his Regiment.

All help as always gratefully recieved.

My guess is T over London, which could be any one of a number of battalions. Not sure what they would be doing out in Burma, but what's written on the back of cards doesn't always correspond with the picture.

My guess is RE.

I thought that at first, but it seems to be out of scale with the small GS buttons.

Thanks to one and all so far, but a little new to all this
"T over London?", RE Royal Engineers? GS General Service?
