I find [to my amazement] that I have no photo good enough of the following to illustrate a talk 'remembering' that I am due to give:
a headstone of 'a soldier of the Great War' with some colour [roses?] in the foreground
a marker stone 'known to be buried in this cemetary' or 'near this spot' or similar
a 'stood back' view of the Menin Gate, and a view of one of the racks of wreaths inside.
Silly, I know!
Offers please, either here or by PM.
Thanks in advance.

How about this, taken on the Somme in 2006. Please PM me if you want a multi-megabyte copy,
Mark

Grumpy,
Not quite what you were asking but I offer it so you can decide it usefulness for your talk - it at least has roses. I have a few other 'a soldier of the Great War' images I'll shortly post what I think is the most suitable (but not exactly what you asked for).
Hope this helps,
Ian.
Have just seen Mark's post after mine, I trust that is exactly what you were looking and therefore shall not add the additional images.

Grumpy,
One 'stood back' view from last November from on top of the ramparts with the RBL field of poppies noticeable in the foreground.
All the best,
Ian.

I am overwhelmed by the generous response, as ever.
I will PM for a few: please don't be offended if I do not take you up, they are all brilliant.
PS: I have many many RWF headstones, and neglected the others, in my singlemindedness!
