A long lost 1916 Charlie Chaplin film entitled "Charlie Chaplin in Zepped" has recently turned up through an online auction.
The film included a Zeppelin bomb attack and was thought to be first World War propaganda to reduce the fear in Britain of German airship attacks.

Given the incendiary qualities of nitrate film, they really do need to get it transferred to safety stock - NOW! - or else it may vanish again, but this time in a puff of smoke!
What a fascinating find, though.
