Broz,

Did you have to show me that!!!! Why not just squeeze lemon juice into an open wound...I showed my wife the auction page and she gave me a stern look and said 'Don't even think about it!'

I can only dream.
DirtyDick
Tell him that you're opening a museum of your own and are keen to accept donations.

The Bluestein Gallery? Sounds classy.

I hope whoever wins the auction will cherish the collection, and keep it intact.

I can not believe that someone who had such a collection would even consider selling it. I should be passed down through the generations and used as a toll to teach all the family members about the importance (and horror) of the Great War(s). If such a collection does exist and is to be sold (suggesting the family has no interest) then it should go to the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.

So what thinks thee drooling collectors ... shall we amass a fund from the PALS and meet the bid and send it to the museum for all to cherish?

Richard of Canada
(who shall keep his collection)
