Hi there,
Does anyone have the Order of Battle for Operation Archangel?
Was there such a thing?
Many thanks,
Tim

I believe there was an Operation Archangel in Russia, just after the First World War had ended for Russia. Don't have any details though, sorry.
The Germans launched Operation Archangel on 6 April, 1918, near La Fere. This comprised six divisions of the Seventh Army, supported by 216 batteries. The French defenders comprised two infantry divisions. I don't have anything more precise at this time but may be able to get further information in the near future.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes I know that there was an Operation Archangel - it is the order of battle that I am wondering if one exists.
It is, however, the Russian campaign to assist the White Army in 1919.
Thanks,
Tim

Wasn`t there a Operation Archangel in some other war too? WW2 or Vietnam, or something like that, or was that just fiction? Can`t remember where I read about this...
