Does anyone know anything about Willow Stream on the Somme. I want to walk along it on my next visit but not sure if it still exists or if it is relevant to the battles?
Rarely see it mentioned but must have been quite important to the soldiers?

Martin Middlebrook gives the "Willow Stream" as better known as "Happy Valley" one of the main supply and reinforcement arteries for the British troops just above Fricourt.
