Thanks very much Max we all appreciate this. Was this the 14-18 German flag? It looks like the current one.
I hope someone can tell us what kind of space is below the mass grave where we see vegetation on the surface.

Hello,

more information about the Kameradengrab can be found in the thread about yesterday under the forum Western Front. As I told there, the Kameradengrab is some kind of a celler in which the remains lay. It is completely closed, so the soldiers were buried in a corridor next to the Kameradengrab.

Be sure it is the current German flag, the combination black-white-red is highly forbidden in Germany.
