A lesser known twin-engined bomber, the Rumpler G.III, with its constructional shortcomings,
could not compete with the Grossflugzeuge of Gotha, Friedrichshafen, AEG.

The Rumpler G.III was powered by 2 Mercedes D IVa 260 hp engines.
