I don't know if anyone here is aware of this, and I did do a search to see if this has been posted before but could not find anything
If you do a search on Access to Archives (A2A) for 'Military Hospital' - just that, singular, not plural
Here
Access to ArchivesHits then come up on a page, click on 'East Sussex Record Office: Records of the Coroner for Eastern Sussex [COR/3/3/1901 - COR/3/12/8]'

The search page should come up if you click the link above 'Access to Archives', or
Click Here if it doesn't and another page comes up or an error page, click on the 'Search A2A' link, top left hand side of the page and the search feature comes up, enter 'Military Hospital' in the keywords box, leave all the choices as 'All' and a number of 'hits' come up, then click the one that says 'East Sussex Record Office: Records of the Coroner for Eastern Sussex [COR/3/3/1901 - COR/3/12/8]' and they are all on that page

Alternatively if you just put - Kitchener's Military Hospital - exactly as it is there in the keywords box only two pages of coroners reports come up for that record office and this chap is on the second page
WILSON Leslie Wallace, lance corporal, 2nd Battallion, Australian Imperial Force

For anyone interested in the above:
The Coroners extracts listing dates, injuries and causes of death do show up in the pages of search results, I haven't posted those here because I'm worried about copyright issues (there are copyright notices on each page)

credit card over the phone. UK callers phone 01273 482349. Overseas callers phone 00 44 1273 482349."

On the Access to Archive result page it does state:
[Access Conditions]
Closed for 75 years from the last date of a document, but if my poor Maths is correct these records should be able to be accessed now
These Coroners record extracts may be new additions to Access to Archives as all the record offices taking part do update and add more records.
There may be more Coroners reports to be added, unless these are the ones that have survived, many Coroners records were destroyed in other areas, and this area is not one I'm familiar with, so e-mail the record office to see if there are more if interested, although it does state in their list of collections that they have records for "Coroner of the Borough of Brighton, 1854-1974"

Mandy I AM blonde and I have problems with search engines, especially the LG one! still haven't cracked that one. I'm waiting for Steve's Master Class
Found those late last night but was too tired to post them, then when I tried to find them again this morning - no joy, forgot what search term I'd used!
You found more? Oh good show!
Where d'ya find those?
I must look and see if there are more for other areas of the country
Found those above by accident - serendipity. It's amazing what you find when searching for something else!
Hope they are helpful to someone

No, I'm a reformed character these days!!

Besides I think you live too far away...lol
I've just realised that by just doing a search for Kitchener's Military Hospital
This poor chap in St Mark's Schools Military Hospital, Brighton doesn't show up on the search result page - TUFFEN John, private, C Company, 9th Royal West Surrey Regiment
So the first one I posted, just 'Military Hospital' works for the soldiers listed in my first post

Found more Coroners report extracts for East Sussex by doing a search using 'bullet' or 'wound' - OR found a much easier way of bringing up East Sussex coroners reports pages by just using the reference COR in the keyword search box at A2A, there maybe lots more
I haven't posted the details of the Coroners reports, use the search for the full pages that do list injuries and causes of death if interested
HereWARDEN - Francis, private, King's Own Scottish Borderers; at the 2nd Eastern General Hospital, Brighton;
FOWLE - William Meade, captain, RE
OVERTON - William Arthur of 124 Osborne Road, Preston, Brighton, late private, 4th Battalion Coldstream Guards, invalided out of service,
DELANEY - Thomas, private, 1st Lancashire Fusiliers
SCOTT - Edward Cyril, private, 7th Royal West Kents, 'B' Company
GEE - Harry Charles, Pte 2314, A Company, 33rd Australian Infantry
FRASER - Percival Victor, Warrant Officer (2nd grade) RNAS
KITCHEN - John Frederick Raymond, Flight Lt RAF
COLE - George, Flight Lt RAF,
SANDERS - Reginald Horace, 2nd Lt RAF
POSSOLO - Eugenio da Silva, Lt Brazilian Navy
By the way doing a search for 'bullet' or 'wound' also bring up some rather grisly details of murders and suicides, some of them post war, can't help but wondering if they are people or ex-servicemen traumatised by the war

BAIN - John, RNVR deck hand on minesweeper SS Grenadier
SYMONDS - John Gordon, Acting Leading Seaman RNVR, gunlayer on collier transport SS River Crake,

I'd better amend the title, since there are soldiers, sailors, airmen & Merchant Navy listed here
and of course not all of these died at Kitchener's Military Hospital, or in a military hospital, so will take that off too

As he had been discharged, he would only qualify if it could be proven that his death before the cut-off date was due to his service.
Perhaps the authorities did not believe this or they were never informed.
You could try to make out a case using the coronor's report and his death certificate.
