I gave my vote to Kaisa

Not only did her illustration look good, she also had the courage to participate and show her skills...
Good job, EVERYONE!!!

I vited Soren this time - I liked the double emaning in the picture - the medical men who could do no more, and the dead men ditto. Clever.

My thanks to whomever decided to give me the poetry vote, thereby allowing me to win the poetry section!
For those less impressed, my assurance that my poetry is a lot, lot better than my artistry!!!

A hard choice this month, all were so good
I would like to join in because I do daub a bit but I'm slow and rusty so would need to know a few months in advance. Second thoughts, the standard here is so good I don't think I will!!
Well done everyone!
Congrats to the winner

This is my first go at the War Art competition. Great idea! I have to say I almost voted for Roger's gorgeous Lewis Gunner, but being a 2-D artist myself I have a special affinity for a good drawing. For that reason, Soren got my vote.

Fair enough, how about it Russell-as a newcomer you can pick the topic, if you wish, just start a new post entitled March MGWAT and give us your topic title (although I am a bit worried about your special affinity for
good drawing... how about well intended

, looking at some of mine

)

Very well, then. Give me a couple of days to think on it and I'll see if I can come up with and idea. Seems that my choosing the topic should preclude me from submitting anything, though.
