Where WW1-front lines reached Switzerland
By Oswald Schwitter
which gives quite an interesting overview of the Franch-Germany-Switzerland boundary, and:
The Northwestern Austro-Italian Alpine front:

By Francesco Davini
which talks about the Italy-Austria alpine front.
