The Great War, Winston Churchill, George Newnes, London, 1933/34
I had a look around Winston Churchill’s old home at Chartwell yesterday. He was a prolific author and in a display of his works I noticed a three-volume account of the Great War. I had not heard of it before. The Great War was published in three volumes by George Newnes in 1933 and 1934. Apparently it was an abridged edition of his work The World Crisis.
I wonder if any of the pals can offer a review or an opinion of this book?

I claim a langleybaston1418 Thread Crusher award. And bonus points for stunning everyone to silence with a mention of Winston Churchill.

I believe that the Great War was a part work in 26 (?) issues, which you've seen bound.
