Hi,

Can anyone tell me how common gas attacks were, either mustard or chlorine. Was an attack usually fatal or was the intention to cause casualties.

Thanks

Thanks very much for the link. The information was what I was looking for and hoping it wouldn't be as bad as I thought. My grandad was gased while in the ASC and died of lung cancer in 1942, I hope a similar fate awaited Major General Fries, it could not have happened to a nicer man!
