Just a quick question..........................does anybody know what LWB Rees was flying when he won his VC? Was it a pusher type?

Hi,

Major L W B Rees was commanding officer of 32 squadron and won his VC flying a 'pusher' DH2 on 1st July 1916.

Many thanks...................and thanks for being so quick too! I just couldn't find my stuff to confirm it, tho I had suspected it was a DH2.

The aeroplane flown by Rees during his VC exploit was DH 2 No 6015, built by the Aircraft Manufacturing Company Ltd of Hendon.
