Hello,
I am trying to find out any information possible on my Great Grandfathers service during the Great War.

I have a copy of his MIC. My father told me he was in the Army before the War, My Grandmother said he was wounded (shot in the Ankle) at some point. and my great Uncle said he was in Gallipolli.
His MIC shows him as being awarded the Victory/British & 1914 Star, below that is another entry which appears to be "0 CVR Issd (something else) 1936" but do not knoiw what that could be.

His details are Pte Francis Walters 1038 2Bn Welsh Regt, He survived the War.

Any help would be appreciated
