Anyone going to Thiepval cemetery in France?

Sidami,

It may help in getting response from those who are going to Thiepval in the near future (of which there will be quite a few I imagine)....if you add a little more information to your original question.

Are you asking for someone to look at or photogaraph a specific grave?

Which of the several CWGC cemeteries in the Thiepval area (Connaught, Mill Road, Lonsdale, the graves at the Memoral itself etc) are you interested in?

I hope this is of some help.

Have a nice shot of the memorial if that's what you're after.

The CWGC website will give you the Panel/Pier/Face number - you should find it ok , but be aware it could be quite high up, need a powerful zoom.

If you can get hold of a copy of 148 Days on the Somme by Barry Cuttel there is a very useful chart on page 243 which shows you how to find a panel on the memorial (once you have got details from CWGC) this will save a lot of hunting!

There is also a plan of the piers etc. on the site. This link might work if I've got it right.
