Hello Steve
What a find.
After researching Clifford Hart, I have read your post with extreme interest as I am presently putting together my wife's family tree and have identified that she is related to Clifford and Percy Hart.
They were brothers of her grandfather Stanley Graham Hart, my wife's late grandfather who emigrated to South Africa in the late 1800s or early 1900.
If it interests anyone, I have a photograph of Col Wyndham Hart in full regalia as CO of the Queen Victoria rifles. I also have a portrait of his wife Selina.
The family sure were of military extinction as I also have the citation of Acting Capt. S G Hart dated 25 Oct 1917 for gallant and distinguished services in the field. He was with the Royal Field Artillery. We have been unable to locate the associated medal, but I'm still looking.
It would appear that what you and David have will be of extreme interest to the family and I would appreciate it if copies of these documents can be sent to me.
Kind regards

Now ...
I can help out a lot with this man and, combined with another man I know who has something quite unusual belonging to his family, we can probably bore you to death with him.
I have the 50 odd pages of his service record on jpegs which includes letters back and forth between the WO and his mother. A man I know called David Sankey has produced a lengthy word doc on him so would you like me to either put you in touch with him directly or ask him if I can send it over to you?
Between us we initially researched his brother Percy who fell in the Bedfords as Dave came across hundreds of fascinating glass slides in a loft and traced them to that family. All very interesting ...
Let me know how much detail you are looking for Tim so we dont overload you with nonsense!
Cheers
