Does anybody have (or know of a link to) any decent photos of the Plymouth War Memorial ............ the WW1 Memorial on Plymouth Hoe, near to the Naval Memorial - not the Naval Memorial itself.

thanks - Tom

Terry - thanks for that. - The second photo which looks like 1920'ish is really nice and would particularly have suited my needs,(*) but they dont really want you to copy it, do they ! (*personal use, not for publication). Anybody know of a similar photo of this subject ?

Greg - if you could get me a colour photo of the memorial - front on and full width, without any pedestrian "clutter" (etc), then I'd be very greatfull. I'm looking for quality good enough to print at A5 size and understand that this has something to do with "Pixies". The handbook for my own camera doesnt want to explain this but tells me how to set various values of "M" (whatever M is) - and about 3.2 of your M's seems to be fine for this purpose. If you could e-mail me something of that sort as an attachment I'd be very greatfull - regards - Tom
