The History of the Worcestershire regt (11th Bn, 78th bde) has some interestng stuff, including a map. Unfortunately, my copy is not in good nick (it's a very large book, prone to split spine), so I can't really scan it for you, I'm afraid.
Possibly another member has a copy - it's been reprinted, I believe - or maybe even the library can track it down. Author was Capt H FitzM Stacke, MC.
There is also a new-ish history of the campaign, the tilte and author of which I forget. "Under the devil's Eye" seems to ring a bell.

I hope Broomers that it is irony that you forget the authors? Or you may not be allowed at the IWM or the NAM...The book is by Wakefield and Moody (both members of this forum). It is an excellent read and more relevant to a would be owner, a cracking investment. They are very rare and fetch a good price.

I seem to recall that the Worcestershires history is available on CD-Rom. Under the Devil's Eye is not that "rare" yet and there is also the Macedonia campaign Official History which covers Doiran in some detail.

There's a free download available of: THE STORY OF THE SALONIKA ARMY by G Ward Price at:

Library and under
World War 1 General.
Chapter XIV is titled: The British Battle of Doiran. This book doesn't provide military detail but it sets the scene through the eyes of an observer at the time.

Although (sad to say) no official history of 26th Division was written, a number were produced for its constituent units, such as 7th Ox & Bucks LI, and Charles Packer's 'Return to Salonika'.

Harry,
Can I just say thanks for the link.
My step-mother's father fought in The Battle of Doiran with the R.F.A and this has made her day.
regards Stuart.
