Devizes War Memorial

Recommended Posts

David Seymour

I am seeking to confirm whether or not S/Serjeant Albert Edward Dowding MSM appears on the Devizes War Memorial. He was born in Peshawer in 1888 and at the time of the CWGC entry his parents were in Trowbridge but there is a letter from his headteacher in Devizes in his service record.

Grateful as always for any assistance.

David

Michelle,

Many thanks for your assistance. This is not an urgent request so I look forward to seeing Richard Broadhead's website and/or to hearing from you later in June.

Once again, many thanks for your help.

Regards,

David

David, he isn't on the memorial, I took photos of all the panels should you want them. Michelle

I have just found out that my Grandfather's brother was KIA on 11 August 1918 with the 78th Batt. CEF. I am wondering if you have his name on your photographs of the panels of the Devizes War Memorial? His name is William Edward Jones.

Thanks in advance

Dave
