Minor changes to the Forum   12/12/17

We have altered the structure of the Home Fronts and Uniforms, Arms, Insignia, Equipment & Medals boards. We have removed the sub-category headings and now each board is more visible and easier to find. We have also renamed "About this website" and "Using theTechnology" to make it clearer where to post questions about the GWF website. We have also put a link ot the forum Rules on the main menu at the top to make them easier to find - particularly the section regarding requesting look ups on subscription sites such as Ancestry. Finally, for those who visit Skindles, there is a pinned post there detailing some changes to it.   Regards The GWF Admin Team

Good evening Guys & Girls,

I just thought I'd share some pictures with you guys of my Great Great Grandfather C.qms Charles Albert Coe, who was Killed at Hagle Dump on April 27th 1918 aged 37.

I have recently found great interest in WW1 & 2 history and after speaking with my grandmother last year when on a search to find him.

I would love nothing more than to find some more pictures of him or with him and the 10th Battalion the Royal  West Kent, so if anyone has or can point me in a direction that's would be great.

many thanks guys.

Hi and welcome

seems you have some stuff many pals would love to have about their relatives.

Your man has medal roll, index, & soldiers effects records on Ancestry, free this weekend on registration I think,

Photos are always hard to come by.

You could check the war diary for info on National Archives HERE for the £3.50 download fee

Reference:WO 95/2638/2

10 Battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment)

Date:1918 Mar. - 1919 Feb.

Ancestry here for the date mentioned
